Milestone Moment: Topping Out at Bentley University’s Adamian Project

Celebrating a Milestone Moment at the Bentley University Topping Out Ceremony

This spring, studioDSK celebrated a major milestone on the Bentley University Adamian Academic Center project: topping out, the placement of the final piece of structural steel that completes the building’s primary frame. It’s an exciting, highly visible marker of progress on site, reflecting the planning, coordination, and craftsmanship required to bring the structure up and into place safely.

When complete, the renovated Adamian Academic Center will be the cornerstone of Bentley’s Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship initiative, creating a modern hub where students, faculty, and partners can collaborate and learn across disciplines. The project will feature immersive technology labs, dynamic learning environments, enhanced faculty work areas, and student gathering spaces designed to foster creativity and exploration at the intersection of business, technology, and innovation. As an anchor of the planned Academic Quad, Adamian will help advance Bentley’s vision for innovative, market-ready learning.

For studioDSK, Adamian reflects what we value most in higher education design. We partner closely with universities to create learning environments that strengthen engagement between students and faculty. The design brings a bold contemporary identity to the campus quad and signals a new generation of university space. Inside, technology-rich environments support evolving approaches to teaching and collaboration.

Congratulations and thank you to the entire project team for making this milestone happen safely and with quality at the forefront.

This milestone reflects the power of true collaboration, working side by side with our team of design experts to translate Bentley’s vision to technology-rich learning environments. Together, we’re shaping spaces that support evolving teaching methods, strengthen student-faculty connection, and spark innovation across disciplines.
