Amy Latva-Kokko Appointed Chair of BSA Committee on the Environment

We’re thrilled to announce that Amy Latva-Kokko, AIA, CPHD, LEED BD+C, studioDSK’s Director of Sustainability, has been appointed Chair of the Boston Society for Architecture’s Committee on the Environment (BSA COTE).

We’re proud to share that Amy Latva-Kokko, AIA, CPHD, LEED BD+C, studioDSK’s Director of Sustainability, has been appointed Chair of the Boston Society for Architecture’s Committee on the Environment (BSA COTE).

Amy brings a thoughtful, systems-oriented approach to sustainable design, grounded in both technical expertise and a deep commitment to equity and climate resilience. At studioDSK, she leads our sustainability initiatives across a range of institutional and cultural projects, helping clients align their values with measurable environmental performance.

As Chair of BSA COTE, Amy will guide the committee’s efforts to advance sustainable design practices throughout the Boston architecture community. This includes facilitating programs that highlight innovative strategies around materials, energy, health, and community impact, work that aligns with her belief that sustainability is not a siloed discipline, but central to design excellence.

Amy’s leadership embodies studioDSK’s belief that good design considers both the people it serves and the planet it relies on. We’re eager to see her help steer the conversation on what sustainable architecture can and must become.
